The 2025-26 season is off to an EXCEPTIONAL start. Great snowmaking temps, a bunch of lake effect, and even a mini Nor’ Easter. And looking past Christmas, more snow and cold is expected including a winter storm warning for late today through Noon Saturday with snow totals somewhere between 6” - 10”. These next two weeks are setting up to surrender some of the best skiing and riding in years!! Get in, sit down, and hang on…

And in addition, Snowmaking operations will continue around the clock whenever conditions permit.

It’s currently 10 degrees with partly cloudy skies. The forecast for Friday; cloudy with periods of snow in the afternoon, could be heavy at times, highs in the low 20’s, chance of snow 100%, total daytime accumulations 5-8”. NOW THAT”S A DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS PRESENT WE CAN ALL SMILE ABOUT!

Song Mountain will open Friday, December 26th from 9 am to 9 pm with 2 lifts, the Triple Chair and the Gunshy Chair, serving 8+ trails. Song’s 1st night of night skiing. “Stormy Weather” and “Sentimental Journey” are OPEN. Otto’s and the Diamond Cutter chair are close behind. We are skiing and riding on a 28 to 62” base with a machine groomed, packed powder surface. There will be some fresh powder this afternoon and tonight! And Heuga’s Alpine will be open for your dining pleasure from 11 am to 9 pm.

The snow is deep and getting deeper, and we expect the number of lifts and trails to grow rapidly. We are all looking forward to some superb skiing and riding right through the New Year.
