Just think... Maybe we get two old fashioned winters IN A ROW. Keep your fingers crossed. Last week; with a nice lake effect event, and even a mini Nor’ Easter, we’re off to a good start! More snow and EXCELLENT snowmaking temperatures are expected to continue well into next week. And of course we will continue to make snow around the clock when ever condtions permit.

And now MORE GOOD NEWS. Song Mountain will open for the season SUNDAY, December 7th from 10 am to 4:30 pm with the Gunshy chairlift serving 2 easier trails. We will be skiing and riding on a 20 to 48” base with a machine groomed, packed powder surface.

Also, Heuga’s Alpine will be open for your dining pleasure this weekend as follows: Friday, Dec 5th, 4 pm to 9 pm with Cheri Giraud & Dan Pugh entertaining LIVE from 6 to 9. Saturday, from 4 pm to 9 pm and Sunday, for the first day of skiing, from 11am to 5pm. Call 315-696-0006 for evening reservations.

Moving past this weekend, I expect both Song and Labrador to reopen late next week with top to bottom terrain.

As always and especially this time of year, please check back often for updates.

Finally, BEAT THE RUSH. We’re encouraging all season pass holders to try to pick up their passes early. The offices at both mountains will be open at a minimum Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm, AND this Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm, and Sunday 10 to 3 at Lab and 9 to 5 at Song.
