This is an updated report is effective 11:00 am Wednesday, January 18th.

The mid January roller coaster continues, but remember winter 16-17 has also given us great snowmaking temps as well as a crap load of Lake Effect. The snow on both mountains remains deep and the skiing and riding are surprisingly good.

It’s currently 34 degrees with overcast skies. The forecast for Wednesday includes snow showers this morning, maybe a sprinkle mixed in, transitioning to all snow showers this afternoon, temps nearly steady in the low to mid 30’s, snow accumulations 1-2 inches.

Song and Labrador are both open Wednesday, January 18th. Lab from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm and Song from 9:30 am to 9:00 pm. Labrador will have 2 lifts serving about 11 trails and Song will have 2 lifts serving around 12 trails. Both mountains are skiing and riding on a 10-44 inch base with a wet, loose granular surface with little or no grooming.

Special notes today: Lab closing at 4:30 pm today, Song closing at 9:00 pm today. Lab school programs can go to Song tonight either individually or as a group. Song Wednesday school programs are being held as scheduled.

So, as Thanksgiving goes, the rest of the season goes. Song & Lab, first to open, last to close. Your choice really is easy…

And of course, the “Inter-mountain Passport” is back for 2016-17.  Full season passes at either mountain… Full reciprocity… No upgrades, no restrictions, NO RESORT FEES!  You literally get 2 mountains for the price of one… 2016-17 season passes are on sale now.  Check out the SEASON PASS LINK for all the details.
