This report is effective 7 am Saturday, December 14th. Sometimes in this business, if it wasn’t for bad luck, we wouldn’t have any luck at all… Yup, a short warm up today, but back to snow tonight and some nice snowmaking and lake-effect all next week.

As for this week, Friday morning completed an outstanding 54 hour snowmaking window. The snow at both mountains has been REALLY piling up and I’m happy to say both Song and Lab will be open this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, from 9 am to 4:30 pm. The triple chair at Labrador will be serving top to bottom Jacobie, Upper Muzzel and Lower Muzzel. The Gunshy chair at Song will be serving the Bunny Hop and Lower Stormy Weather. No lessons at Labrador but, beginner learn-to-ski packages and Song Bird lessons will be available at Song. All lift tickets, both mountains, ONLY $39!

So… Looking forward, a bit of cold coupled with our state-of-the-art snowmaking systems will ensure that available terrain will grow rapidly. And next week is exactly what we all dream about… COLD & SNOWY!

So… Round up your foul weather gear, make your way to Song or Lab, pick up your passes, make a few turns, have something to eat or drink, but mostly, and more importantly renew your friendship with your favorite two CNY mountains… And yes, I know that you know exactly where we are…

And of course, gift cards are available on-line at and make PERFECT stocking stuffers. They’re good for anything we got and they never expire. See the link below.
