Responsibilities
Working in the ski rental shop is a combination of customer service and technical skills. It is important to be able to communicate about rental forms and equipment with customers in order to keep them safe. It is equally important to do so in a positive manner to ensure a good customer service experience. You will be required to staff, schedule and maintain a clean and safe environment. Your staff will need to be trained to use the ski adjustment chart to set rental skis to the mandatory release settings, which will be the most frequently performed task within the shop. They will also be trained to use, maintain and clean all rental equipment, including boots, helmets, and snowboards. Ideal candidates for this position will have some prior knowledge of skis and snowboards, and have a good attitude and perform other related duties as assigned. Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
